To benefit the Thurston County Food Bank
Ongoing Food Drive
There are so many difficult-to-process things happening in our country and in the world right now. We regularly reflect with our clients and as a staff on the harrowing changes and divisiveness all around us; from the starvation of children in Gaza to the ways in which marginalized communities are being targeted here at home. It can be overwhelming to find sustainable ways to stand up and resist the constant barrage of divisiveness and hopelessness. That is why we have decided to host an ongoing food drive in our office. No one can do everything to fix the problems in our communities - but everyone can do something. This is our way of making something available to the community. A way to serve others - and ourselves - by getting involved and doing good where we can.
