Lillie McCatty is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and meets the Washington State DBHR requirements to be a clinical supervisor as of March 2014. With supervision experience spanning her career she is especially passionate about guiding new professionals through their early career path. As a creative arts therapist and Registered Drama Therapist emphasis on an integrated approach that bridges the gap between academics and practice is important to Lillie. Lillie prefers an Existential or Change-Psychology theoretical orientation but is very multidisciplinary in her modalities and well-versed in many theories and practices. Throughout her career, Barb has had many opportunities to mentor other staff about clinical documentation, techniques and daily tasks necessary to serve our clients appropriately. Barb also managed a small mental health facility in Lewis County, which was part of a bigger organization there, for over a year prior to entering private practice. She had approximately 10 to 12 staff members to supervise and train at any given time. Barb has all of the necessary training, requirements and licensure to supervise associate clinicians to licensure themselves. Barb enjoys this role greatly and has a lot of enthusiasm for teaching and mentoring!
